Le Boreal is a cruise ship owned and operated by the French travel company Compagnie du Ponant.

The ship has a length of 142 meters (465 ft 11 in), with 132 cabins and suites for 264 passengers and a crew of 136.

Completed in 2010, it is the sister ship of L’Austral, Le Lyrial, and Le Soléal. Le Boreal entered service on May 6, 2010. From February 25 to March 6, 2018, journalist and podcaster Brady Haran conducted an expedition to the Antarctic on this ship.

Le Boreal appeared in the third episode of the fifth season of the television series Mighty Ships. The ship was shown ferrying tourists to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula.
