In 1968, Ferruccio Lamborghini purchased a custom-designed Riva Aquarama tailored to his specifications. Lamborghini requested Riva to remove the Chevrolet-based Riva engines and replace them with a pair of Lamborghini 4.0-L V12 engines. This resulted in the only Aquarama fitted with Lamborghini engines, making it the fastest and most powerful Aquarama ever built. Needless to say, there is no other like it in the world.
Lamborghini was often seen cruising the Adriatic Sea on his Aquarama until he sold it in 1988. The new owner removed the Lamborghini engines due to their high maintenance costs. Instead, they donated the original engines to the Lamborghini museum and replaced them with standard Riva engines. The owner kept the boat until their passing in 2002.
Refund Eligibility
